日本は明治維新以後、<國家神道>をすべての宗教よりも優位に位置付けてきた。これは自国民のイデオロギー的な統合と天皇中心の支配体制の構築という国家的目的を達成するためであったといえよう。それが<日清戰爭>と<日露戦争>の際、軍国主義との結託によってその効用性が立証された上での、植民地朝鮮に対する支配の理念にも拡張されて施行された。したがって國家神道の象徴的な現象としての<神社>において、その中心的なイデオロギーの的であった<祭神>も、朝鮮人向けの内的な教化のための礎となったのである。 日帝强占期、植民地朝鮮に適用された教育的な教化装置としての祭神の意味は、「万世一系と征服者の神聖化」、「内鮮の交流と朝鮮救いという歴史観の固定化」、「祭神へのビジョン」として把握された。これこそ<國家神道>に基づいて作られた世界に類のない日本だけの国粋主義的な歴史観であるといえよう。それが<太平洋戦争>の時、<大東亜共栄>に便乗した為政者たちによって、戦時政局と結託し、植民地の朝鮮人の児童教育にも適用されたことを読みとることができた。
Abstract
After the Meiji Restoration, the Japanese government located “the Shintoism” on the top of the other religions. This is for the purpose of achieving the national goals of integrating the citizens’ ideologies and constructing an emperor-centered ruling system. It was further applied to the idea of ruling Chosun, whose effectiveness was confirmed in connection with the militarism during the Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War. Accordingly, the shrines as the symbolic form of Shinto served as the basis for the edification of Chosun along with the ideological center of the theocracy. The theocracy as the educational device which was applied to Chosun means the sanctification of the conquerors, the exchange between Chosun and Japan, a fixed historical view of salvation, and the vision of the theocracy. For this reason, the theocracy is inseparable from the nationalistic politicians in Japan.
