本研究は、日韓の言語行動の中で社会的関係維持の為に発話される社会的嘘に注目 し、「感謝」と「共感」状況での様子を比較した。 韓国人話者と日本人話者各100人に DCTアンケート調査を実施し、調査結果を国家、性別、年齢に分けて分析した。その結果、韓国人話者は多様なストラテジーを、日本人話者は定型表現を好むことが分かった。 そして、韓日両国は「ある程度距離のある関係」に対して、積極的に社会的嘘のストラテ ジーを遂行することも確認できた。
Abstract
This study focused on social lies used to maintain social relationships in the language behavior of Japan and South Korea, comparing the expressions of "gratitude" and "sympathy." A Discourse Completion Task (DCT) surveys was conducted among 100 Korean and Japanese speakers, and the survey results were analyzed, considering factors such as country, gender, and age. The findings revealed that Korean speakers tend to employ various strategies, whereas Japanese speakers prefer stereotypical expressions. Additionally, it was observed that both Korean and Japanese speakers actively engage in social lie strategies, particularly in relationships characterized by a degree of distance.
