Lowell in March, 1884. When Lowell executed the second photographing of Go Jong, he did it with a Korean Woonyoung Ji. While Lowell’s royal photographs of Go Jong are well known, those of Woonyoung Ji have been uncertain even though two royal photographs are nowadays asserted to be taken by Woonyoung Ji. I made comparative analysis on some royal photographs of Go Jong and the Crown Prince taken by Lowell and presumed to be taken by Woonyoung Ji. The analysis shows that the two royal photographs of Go Jong and his Crown Prince are very highly assumed to be taken by Woonyoung Ji. But the possibility could not be totally ignored that Lowell took the two royal photographs.
