Abstract

The development of digital photography has unfolded by overturning the previous methods and concepts of photographic reproduction. The compression of time and space in digital photography gave new perspective or power to those who used it. It means a new direction revealed as time and space are dismantled and reorganized. Compressibility according to the photographer's intention can be a passage or possibility that gives new meaning to a photo. Each event can be overlaid and reconstructed as a single image, attempts to stack events over a certain period of time on a two-dimensional plane have continued steadily since the past. This was an attempt to amplify the expression of photography and a flexible approach to time as a traditional concept. Digital’s unique sense of sharing and mixing was an effective way to reveal the non-linearity of time. As a result, the possibility of various time expressions on a stationary plane has increased. This possibility can inspire not only the users but also those who encounter the work of art to expand the perceived world.
