초록
This paper investigates the differences in English speech rhythm between Korean speakers of English and native English speakers. To this end, this study employs the Pratt 4.0, sound effect analysis program. In particular, this study examine the English rhythm in terms of both time lapse and stress patterns. The data reveal that the time lapse differences in the utterance of the two groups of speakers are found to be statistically significant. Furthermore, the statistical evidence with regard to pitch and intensity also tends to indicate that there are significant differences among the two groups
