SPADI는 NRS(r=.946), DASH(r=.935), ROM(r= -.927) 점수와 p<.01 수준의 유의한 상관관계가 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to establish reliability and validity of the Shoulder Pain And Disability Index(SPADI) translated into Korean for people with shoulder musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Fifty-two subjects(22 males, 30 female) with shoulder musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction enrolled in the study. They completed a standardized, self-administered questionnaire that included the pain subscale 5 item and the function/disability subscale 8 items, in a total of 13 assessment items. Reliability was determined by intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Cronbach’s alpha by internal consistency. Validity was examined by correlating the SPADI scores to the NRS, DASH, ROM scores. Test-retest reliability of the translated versions of the SPADI was excellent ICC(2,1)=.991 (95%CI .984~.995) and Cronbach’s alpha value for SPADI was found to be .942 and this was statistically significant (p<.01). The correlations between the SPADI and the criterion-related validity calculating Pearson’s correlation coefficient were r=.946(p<.01) for NRS and r=.935(p<.01), for DASH and r=-.927(p<.01) for ROM. We concluded that the Korean version SPADI was shown to be a reliable and valid instrument for the assessment of shoulder musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
