본 연구는 일상생활환경에서 AAC를 적용한 모바일 메신저 사용이 지체장애학생의 의사소통에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구참여자는 의사소통 욕구는 있으나 구어만으로 의사소통이 불가능하고 일상생활환경에서 AAC 사용이 가능한 뇌성마비 학생을 선정하였으며, 연구방법은 상황간 중다간헐기초선 연구설계 방법을 사용하였다. AAC를 적용한 모바일 메신저 사용을 위해 “카카오톡” 모바일 메신저에 웹 기반 보완‧대체 의사소통 보드와 사진 등을 적용하였으며, 뇌성마비학생의 메시지 입력 및 전송빈도와 정확도를 측정하였다. 연구결과, 일상생활환경에서 AAC를 적용한 메신저 사용을 통해 메시지 입력 및 전송빈도와 정확도가 증가하였고, 중재 기간에 증가된 변화는 유지 기간에도 지속되었다. 논의에서는 본 연구의 결과에 따라, 지체장애 학생이 AAC를 적용하여 모바일 메신저 사용이 용이하고 원거리 의사소통을 가능하도록 하는데 본 연구의 의의를 둔다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of using mobile messenger using AAC in the daily living environment. Participants of the study selected cerebral palsy students who had communication needs but could not communicate by spoken language and were able to use AAC in their daily living environment. The study method used multiple probe baseline design. To use mobile messenger with AAC, web based supplementary and alternative communication boards and pictures were applied to "KakaoTalk" mobile messenger, and the frequency and accuracy of message input and transmission of Cerebral Palsy students were measured. As a result of the study, the frequency and accuracy of message input and transmission increased with the use of AAC in daily life environment, and the increase in intervention period persisted in the maintenance period. According to the results of this study, this study has significance in making mobile messenger easy to use and remote communication by applying AAC to students with physical disabilities.
