이 연구는 중도 실명 시각장애학생의 학습매체 지원에 대한 실제 경험을 바탕으로 그에 관한 요구를 파악하여 중도 실명 시각장애학생에게 적절하고 합리성 있는 학습매체를 지원하기 위한 목적에서 질적연구로 수행되었다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 중도 실명 시각장애학생 6명을 심층면담하여 그 내용을 분석하였다. 이에 대한 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 중도 실명 시각장애학생에게 적절한 학습매체를 지원하려면 초기 평가와 후속 평가가 필요하고, 1차 매체와 2차 매체에 대한 선정이 이루어져야 하며, 이를 숙달된 전문인력에 의해 체계성 있게 관리하고 지도해야 한다는 결론에 이른다. 또한 이러한 과정을 원활하게 추진하려면 학습매체 평가 도구 개발이 이루어져야 하고, 다양한 시각장애학생의 학습매체 요구에 부합하는 안내지침서 연구도 계속해서 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study performed qualitative research in order to identify adventitiously visually impaired students’ demand for learning media support based on their actual experience and provide proper and reasonable learning media support for them. To achieve the research purpose, an in-depth interview was conducted with 6 students who were adventitiously visually impaired and their experience of and demand for learning media support were analyzed. The results can be summarized as follows: To provide adventitiously visually impaired students with proper learning media support, it is required to carry out initial and follow-up evaluation, select 1st and 2nd media, and have experience professionals manage and lead them in a systematic manner. Additionally, it is necessary to develop tools to evaluate learning media and perform follow-up research on guidelines suitable for the demand for learning media from different students with visual impairment to promote the process smoothly.
