농인 예비교사의 체육교과 교육실습 사례 연구

이 연구의 목적은 농인 예비교사의 일반학교 체육교과 교육실습 사례를 분석하여 장애교원의 확충과 전공 확대에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구방법은 목적표집(purposive sampling)을 통해 농인 예비교사 중에서 체육교과 교육실습을 경험한 2명의 연구참여자를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 자료수집은 문헌분석과 반구조화된 질문지를 토대로 심층면담(in-depth interview)을 실시하였다. 심층면담으로 형성된 자료는 전사(transcription) 작업을 실시하였고, 전사된 자료를 반복적으로 읽으면서 자료 속에 내포된 의미를 확인하였다. 수집된 자료와 도출된 결과에 대한 신뢰도와 타당도 검증은 삼각검증법(triangulation)을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농인 예비교사의 체육교과 교육실습의 시작은 교원양성 체계에 대한 정보 부족에 따른 결과이다. 둘째, 농인 예비체육교사의 교육실습은 “걱정” 이란 감정으로 시작하였고, 학생들 중에 “중계자”라는 역할을 부여하여 수업을 효과적으로 진행할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 농인교원이라도 체계적인 지원체계가 마련된다면 효과적인 체육수업의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로 농인 예비교사의 경우 다른 장애유형과 달리 수업내용 전달에 어려움이 있었다. 그러나 장애유형별 행정적 지원체계 마련과 임용제도의 혁신적인 보완 그리고 비장애인교원과 장애교원이 통합된 협력교수의 적용이 가능다면 장애교원의 진출을 확대시킬 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze a case study of teaching practicum of pre-teachers who are deaf in physical education(PE) at general schools to provide the basic resources required to nurture teachers with disabilities and expand their studies. The subjects gathered through purposive sampling were two pre-teachers who are deaf and have experienced practicum in PE Resources were collected through literature analysis and a survey form semi-structured based on the researchers' opinion and referred to during the in-depth interview. The findings are as follows: first, the start of teaching practicum of pre-teachers who are deaf in PE resulted from the lack of information about the system of teacher training. Second, the emotion behind the teaching practicum of pre-teachers who are deaf in PE in the beginning was “worry” and some students were assigned as the “announcers” for effective classroom management. Lastly, it was found that teachers who are deaf could lead PE classes effectively with systemized support systems. In conclusion, pre-teachers who are deaf face difficulties communicating in classes unlike other forms of disability. However, the services of disabled teachers could be expanded by establishing administrative support systems for each form of disability and innovating the teacher appointment systems.
