장애인에게 경제활동은 사회구성원의 한 주체자로 가치 있는 삶을 영위하는데 중요한 기능을 한다. 자신의 삶에 보람과 성취감을 얻고 지역사회에 적극적으로 참여하며 비장애인들과 다양한 관계를 맺으며 더불어 살아가는 삶의 기반이 되는 것이다. 이에 본 연구자는 학교에서 배우는 경제교육만으로는 부족한, 일상생활에 적용 가능한 경제활동 프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 방법으로는 첫째, 선행연구 분석과 전문가 면담을 거쳐 협의 및 수정, 보완을 하여 생활중심 경제활동 프로그램의 목적과 목표 및 내용을 정하여 타당성을 검증하였다. 둘째, 생활중심 경제활동 프로그램 내용의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 그룹 홈 거주 발달장애인 6명을 대상으로 사전검사, 중재, 사후검사, 유지단계로 효과 검증을 하였다. 생활중심 경제활동 프로그램의 효과 검증 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생활중심 경제활동 프로그램이 그룹 홈 거주 발달장애인의 화폐개념에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 용돈관리 개념에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 소비행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 스스로 금전관리를 하며 계획된 소비를 하고 금전관리의 소중함을 일깨워 주었다. 생활중심 경제활동 프로그램이 그룹 홈 거주 발달장애인의 합리적인 소비 능력에 효과적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 이는 발달장애인도 일상생활에 적용 가능한 프로그램을 제공한다면 스스로 금전관리가 가능할 것이다.
Abstract
For the disabled, economic activity plays an important role in leading a valuable life as a member of society. It is the basis of life in which one's life is rewarded and fulfilled, actively participates in the community, and makes various relationships with non-disabled people. Therefore, this researcher aims to develop economic activity programs applicable to everyday life, which is insufficient only with economic education taught in school. As for the research method, first, the purpose, goals and contents of the life-oriented economic activity program were determined and the validity was verified through consultation, revision, and supplementation through analysis of prior studies and expert interviews. Second, in order to verify the validity of the contents of the life-oriented economic activity program, the effectiveness of 6 persons with developmental disabilities living in group homes was verified through pre-test, intervention, post-test, and maintenance stages. The conclusion of the verification of the effectiveness of the life-oriented economic activity program is as follows.First, the life-oriented economic activity program had a positive effect on the monetary concept of people with developmental disabilities living in group homes. Second, it had a positive effect on the concept of pocket money management. Third, it had a positive effect on consumption behavior. They managed their own money, made planned consumption, and realized the importance of money management. It was found that the life-oriented economic activity program had an effective effect on the rational consumption ability of the developmentally disabled people living in group homes. This means that even people with developmental disabilities will be able to manage their own money if they provide programs applicable to their daily life.
