발달장애인의 고용촉진과 직업재활 이슈, 발전을 위한 전략과 세부 프로그램 필요성 연구: 장애인고용패널을 중심으로

이 연구는 제 2웨이브 장애인고용패널 제 3차패널 자료 속에 나타난 발달장애인의 여러가지 특성들을 현재 우리사회 속에서 나타나고 있는 장애인 고용상의 쟁점들과 관련 지어분석하였다. 특히 인구통계적 특성들과 경제적 상황들을 성별로 구분하여 살펴 보았고 의사소통과 같은 전반적인 역량 수준들을 성별과 차별경험, 사회경제적 측면, 그리고 장애 영역별로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 조사된 여러 가지 변수들을 교차시켜 분석한 결과, 법정 분류상의 발달장애를 좀 더 구체적으로 세분화할 필요성과 직업관련 서비스의 종류와 폭을 더욱넓히고 지금보다 확충할 필요성이 제기되었다. 나아가 발달장애인의 주관적 직업정체성의회복과 더불어 고용과 직업재활에 대한 일반대중이나 국가사회적 관심의 증대와 주위 환경의 개선 및 이후 장애인고용패널 조사상의 개선점들을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study was aimed at investigating important research variables of persons with developmental disabilities in the 3rd Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled 2nd Wave, such as education, gender, discrimination experience base on disability, onset of disability, multiple disability, economic activities, and employable skills. Groups differences are identified among gender, disability types, and job satisfaction. Finally, correlations among disability groups and job satisfaction, self esteem, self efficiency, disability acceptance level, and daily life satisfaction are positive each other, while discrimination experience is negative. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the legal definition of developmental disability and related employment/vocational rehabilitation services are much more extended. Furthermore, the improvement of public attitude toward persons with developmental disability is required and the refinement of panel survey items is suggested.
