This article analyzes the slaughter that occurred in South Korea territory which North Korea occupied at end of September, 1950. The areas covered in this paper are the areas where the North Korean occupation authorities were located and the areas in which they took led. There were several characteristics at the time of the incident. First, in prison affair, all prisoner in the correctional center meant that they might were the target of slaughter. However, in the case of Home Affairs, it did not mean that the detention itself was the target of slaughter. Second, the occupation authorities re-arrested right-wingers in the occupied territories before the massacre. Third, there were intervention by the families who suffered from the leftist repression by the South Korea regime before the war and the National Guidence of Alliance. At the time of the massacre, the orders were decided in North Korea, but in the course of the execution of the field, the commander's discretion was involved in some areas.
Abstract
