Abstract

The purpose of this article is to see if the anti-killing bill, which has been promulgated in history, can fully regulate ancient people. In order to find out this, we try to understand the scale and use of animal resources used by ancient people in detail. It also tries to examine whether Buddhism is the only religion or idea that influenced the law. Because the ancients could only use natural resources. The lack of animal resources in their lives imposes many restrictions on real life. It is necessary to consider whether the religious beliefs of ancient people are deep enough to be willing to bear various inconveniences or deficiencies in personal life, social and national consumer goods, and whether they followed the law. As a result, when Buddhism was just introduced, when a major weather disaster occurred in the country, an ancient slaughter ban was announced in honor of the king's late father. This leads to the assumption that the statute was published in special circumstances, not in peacetime, and that its influence was limited. It is also believed that Confucian ideas, in addition to Buddhism, were also reflected in the law. Even after the decree was proclaimed, the ancients ate or hunted meat, and offered sacrifices to rituals. Therefore, despite the influence of Buddhism and the restrictions of laws, it can be seen that the existing living practices remained.
