정원의 생태계 문화서비스 기능에 대한 연구

본 연구는 정원의 문화적, 생태적 개념을 정립하고, 생태계 서비스의 개념과 문화서비스를 고찰하기 위한 연구로서, 문헌연구를 통해 생태계 문화서비스의 이론적 틀을 설정하고, 검증을 위해서 정원을 대상으로 이론적 틀을 적용하여생태계 문화서비스로서의 정원의 기능을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 생태계 문화서비스 구성요소로는 심미적 기능으로서 미적 가치와 자연풍경 감상, 레크레이션 및 여가활동의 기회 제공, 창작활동을 위한 영감 제공, 생태문화적 현상 등으로 도출하였다. 정원의 유형을 문화적, 공간적, 학술적, 법제적 관점에서 각각 분류하였고, 생태문화와 생태계 문화서비스의 개념을정립하여 생태계 문화서비스로서의 정원을 가치를 분석하였다. 정원의 문화서비스를 심미적 가치, 생태관광과 에코힐링, 장소성과 문화적 유산, 영적 종교적 영감, 생태환경 교육 및 과학적 지식 등으로 구분하고, 각 항목별 구조와 기능, 생태계서비스 지표를 설정하였다. 생태계 서비스 지표는 상태지표와 성능지표로 구분 설정하였다.
Abstract
This study was carried out to define the cultural and ecological concepts of gardens and ecosystem cultural services. The cultural functions of gardens were analyzed by the theoretical frame established through this study. As results elements such as aesthetic function and values, enjoyment of nature landscape, opportunities for recreation and leisure, inspiration for creative activity, ecocultural phenomena etc. were derived as elements of ecosystem cultural services. The types of gardens were classified as cultural, spatial, academic and legal sights, and the concepts of ecoculture and ecosystem cultural services were established and the value of ecosystem cultural services was analyzed. The cultural services of gardens were categorized as aesthetic value, eco-tourism, eco-healing, place, cultural heritage, spiritual inspiration, religious inspiration, ecological education, environmental education, scientific knowledge, structure, function, and the ecosystem services indices were derived respectively.
