본 연구는 정원박람회의 전시용 모델정원을 대상으로 정원이 가지는 일상 속 가치에 기초를 두고, 정원의 기능과 효과를 가진 생활정원을 조성하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2018년 청주정원박람회 내의 작가정원으로 주제인 정원에서의 소소한 즐거움의 표현을 위해 ‘당신의 미소’라는 주제어를 설정하였으며, 디자인 전략으로 추억의 정원, 한국의 형과 색 담기, 함께 만드는 정원으로 하였다. 공간계획은 주택정원의 공간개념을 살렸으며, 입구부와 중정의 휴게공간과 잔디마당, 주변 환경을 조망하고 설계하였다. 전문가, 대학생과 시민봉사자가 함께 만들고 해설하며 이용하는 정원으로 조성하였다. 정원에 대한 활용도가 높아 식재와 시설물의 정기적 유지관리가 요구되었다. 본 연구는 조성의 주제인 일상생활의 정원모델을 전시함으로써 생활환경 속 녹색공간을 통해 가족과 이웃의 생활공동체에게 정원문화의 실증적 학습장소를 제공하는 데 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study is aimed at creating a life garden with the function and effect of the garden based on the daily value of the garden for the exhibition model garden of the garden fair. The subjects of the study were the writers' garden in Cheongju Garden Expo 2018, and the theme was “Your Smile” was set up to express the small joy in the garden, which is the theme, and it was designed as a garden of memories, a garden of colors, and a garden that was made together. The space plan brought to life the concept of space in the housing garden and was designed to view the rest area, grass yard, and surrounding environment at the entrance and the central section.
