본 연구는 지자체에서 시행하는 시민정원사를 양성하기 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 교육 만족도를 분석하기 위해 수행하였다. 교육프로그램은 정원과 식물의 이해, 정원식물관리, 정원설계 드로잉 등으로 구성하였으며, 현장실습으로는 실제 대상지를 선정해서 소규모 한뼘정원을 직접 설계하고 시공하였다. 정원조성은 3개조로 나누어 각 조별로 정원작가를 멘토로 선정하여 설계부터 시공까지 전 과정을 함께 진행하였다. 만족도 설문 결과, 전체 항목에 대한 만족도는 평균 4.3점으로서 86% 수준의 만족도를 나타내어 비교적 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 추가로 교육받고 싶은 정원관련 교육에 대한 설문에서는 생태계, 식물, 치유, 식재, 관리, 기능사 등의 특화된 교육과 심화교육, 주말반 등의 교육에 대한 요구가 있었다.
Abstract
This study was carried out to develop an education program for nurturing citizen gardeners implemented by local governments and to analyze educational satisfaction. The educational program consisted of understanding of gardens and plants, garden plant management, garden design drawings, etc. For field practice, a small-scale garden was designed and constructed by selecting an actual site. The garden creation was divided into three groups, and the garden artist was selected as a mentor for each group, and the entire process from design to construction was carried out together. As a result of the satisfaction survey, the average level of satisfaction for all items was 4.3 points, indicating a level of satisfaction of 86%, indicating a relatively high level of satisfaction. In the questionnaire about garden-related education that they would like to receive additional education, there was a demand for specialized education such as ecology, plants, healing, planting, management, technician, etc., in-depth education, and education such as weekend classes.
