Named Entities are very important linguistic elements in informationtechnology domain which carries out natural language processing. Specifically, This paper shows why problematic the synonyms ofnamed entities in linguistic information processing application areaslike search engine and dialog system are. We investigate how the synonymsof named entity are used based on the corpus of web document andthen propose lexicon improving method to facilitate the method ofimformation processing about named entity synonyms in various nlpapplications
