This study aims to examine the status of the Korean school grammar framework from several perspectives and proposes a new framework for the school grammar content system. First, from the perspective of definition and attributes, the status of the school grammar system was reviewed in the process of its establishment. Next, the school grammar content system in the 2015 revised Korean language course and the 2022 revised Korean language course was reviewed. Based on this review, four things for establishing the school grammar content system were proposed. First, collaborative discussions to secure the identity of school grammar were suggested. Second, an open school grammar system was proposed. Third, the establishment of an integrated grammar content system from foundational principles was recommended. Fourth, multi-faceted and layered methods for presenting grammar education content were proposed.
