Abstract
This study examines the effects of job demands on work-family conflict and life satisfaction in secretarial female workers, and also identifies the relationships between the utilization of mobile after work and employee well-being(work-family conflict, life satisfaction). In addition, we empirically analyzed the moderating effects of utilization of mobile on the relationships between job demands and employee well-being(work-family conflict, life satisfaction). The results of this study targeted 131 incumbent secretaries are as follows: First, high job demands perceived by secretarial female workers showed a positive effects on work-family conflicts and a significant negative effects on life satisfaction. Second, the utilization of mobile after work affects the work-family conflict positively but did not have a significant negative effects on the life satisfaction. Third, interaction effects of the utilization of mobile after work were confirmed in relationships to job demands and work-family conflicts. However, the moderating effects on life satisfaction was not proven. Based on the results of this study, implications, limitations of research and directions for future research were discussed.
