초록
Congenital leukemia is a rare disease that develops frombirth to 6 weeks of life. Leukemia cutis involves cutaneousinfiltration by leukemic cells and is an unusual manifestationof leukemia, and has been documented in 25∼30% ofpatients with congenital leukemia. The authors report a caseof congenital leukemia cutis. A newborn male presentedwith widespread firm dusky red papules and nodules onalmost his entire body surface. Skin biopsy specimensconfirmed the presence of leukemic infiltrations, and bonemarrow cytology was consistent with acute myeloidleukemia of the FAB M5 type.
