회헌 안향의 행적과 사상에 대한 비판적 검토

본 논문은 먼저 회헌선생실기(晦軒先生實紀)를 바탕으로 하여 학자 관료로서의 회헌 안향선생의 행적을 재정리하고, 이에 의해 그의 현실에 대한 문제의식을 검토하였다. 회헌은 몇 차례 연경(현 북경)에 갈 기회를 통하여, 원대(元代)의 주자학을 접하고, 주자학적인 이념을 실천적으로 교육·전파하여, 고려 말의 황폐한 국학을 재건하고 인재양성에 힘을 기울였다. 사상적인 측면으로 회헌은 원대 주자학의 독특한 학풍인 실천적인 도통론을 중시하는 학풍의 영향을 받았다고 할 수 있다.그리고 본 논문은 회헌에 관한 기존 연구와 평가의 문제점을 몇 가지 지적하여, 앞으로 회헌 연구의 방향과 발전 가능성을 제시하였다. 이에는 특히 회헌 사상을 지나치게 과대평가하는 기존 연구경향 및 평가를 비판하고, 문헌에 의거한 공정한 평가를 제안하였다.
Abstract
This dissertation investigated the contributions of An-Hyang as scholar bureaucracy and the problems against his actuality through his writing. Through the some chance which will go to Beijing, he meet with Neo-Confucianism of Won-dynasty. So he propagated the idea of Neo-Confucianism and practical considerations at Korea. He made efforts to re-construction about the study which goes wrong at the ends of Korea dynasty. But currently his writings which was remaining is few. The his understanding and accommodating against Neo-Confucianism are indefinite. Specially he received seriously the practical theory which is a special study in Won-dynasty. Also this dissertation is indicated some problems and evaluations about the existing research regarding him. And this paper insisted to the direction and developmental possibility of the research about An-Hyang. In fact, his descendants go to extremes and become to wrongly idolize. Rightly, it is the critical object of this writing. Consequently this writing is re-illuminated him as bureaucracy and the scholar through only his pure writing.
