Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the Confucian thinkers' perception of reality and their responses in the course of the development of Confucian history in the Late Koryo Dynasty. Confucian revival was sought after when the Confucian community lost its basic spirit after passing the military subject governing style. In the Late Koryo Dynasty, Neo-Confucianism Introduced by An-hyang was gradually studied extensively through Baek Yi-jeong and Lee Je-hyeon. Lee Gok extensively explored the basic scriptures of Confucianism and valued the cultivation of mind. With the acceptance of Neo-Confucianism and understanding of it, the gradual reemergence of Confucian thought to the forefront of the thought world was of great significance in thought history. Because a new paradigm shift has progressed. Based on the Wihwa Provincial Army in 1388, the ethnologist showed that the response was split into three currents by different perceptions of reality. They are the moderate conservative, the radical innovation and the social secluded. Their reality diagnosis and response is meaningful in that they had a certain influence on the development of Confucian thought during the Chosun Dynasty era.
