특수 학교 기본교육과정의 과학교과서 내용의 오류 분석 - 지구영역을 중심으로-

본 연구에서는 특수 교육 대상 학생들을 위한 과학교과서 내용의 정확성을 점검함으로써 향후 과학교과서 내용 구성시 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 7차 개정 기본교육과정의 과학 교과서 1,2,3의 지구영역 관련 내용을 지구과학 전문가와의 검토 및 논의 과정을 통해 분석하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 나타난 오류 및 불확실한 내용에 대하여 특수교육 전문가와의 논의를 통해 해당 교육활동의 학습목표와의 맥락에서 적절성을 검토하였다. 분석결과 주로 과학 3에서 오류 및 불확실한 설명이 있었다. 내용의 오류가 1곳 그리고 삽화(그림 및 표)의 불확실한 표현 및 설명이 7 곳 이었다. 이런 오류들은 학생들이 인식하지 못하는 사이에 학습되어 질 수 있고, 과학교육과정 운영 상 학습목표에 이르는 것을 방해 할 수 있기 때문에 수정의 필요성이 제기된다. 이에 내용 오류의 수정 방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The aim of this research is to analysis of the contents for science textbook of basic curriculum for special school. For this study, the contents of earth realm in th science textbook Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ was analyzed through the going-over and discussion session with experts on earth science. Based on the result of analysis, this research examined the suitability of erroneous and uncertain contents in the context of the learning objective of the corresponding educational activity through the discussion with the experts on special education. As a result of a thorough analysis, this research found out some fallacies and unclear explanations mostly in Science Ⅲ including one fallacy in contents and 7 unclear expressions or explanations in illustrations[drawing and chart]. Such fallacies could be learned by students before they perceive and could be an obstacle to reaching the learning objective at a viewpoint of management of the curriculum for science education, so there needs to be the necessity of modification. Thus, this research suggested revisionary direction of the fallacies in contents.
