본 연구는 대중문화가 범람하는 현대 사회에서의 팬활동을 여가의 하나로 보고자 하는 입장에서 시작되었다. 이를 위해 1인 미디어를 운영하고 있는 팬들을 대상으로 그들의 팬활동 실태를 살펴보았다. 아울러 팬활동 만족과 여가만족, 생활 만족의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 팬활동의 긍정적 기능에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 1인 미디어 운영자들의 팬활동을 통한 여가활동은 그들의 정체성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 여가정체성 수준에 따라 팬활동 만족, 여가만족, 생활만족에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 팬활동 만족은 여가만족, 생활만족과 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과와 관련한 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study is initiated from the standpoint to look at the fan activity as a sort of positive leisure in this contemporary society where popular culture overflows. This article intends to examine the status of fan activity with the subject of fans operating personal media in order to this purpose. In addition, this study also aims to find out the positive functions of fan activity through figuring out the relations between satisfaction in fan activity and leisure and life satisfactions. This study is shown that Leisure through fan activity of personal media operators affects their identity, and there exist differences in satisfaction in fan activity and leisure and life satisfactions according to the degree of leisure-identity. Moreover, it is turned out that satisfaction in fan activity has correlations with usual leisure and life satisfactions. Finally, it has been discussed result derived by means of this study and related social issue.
