The study examined the use of camera for cinematic dance in Gene Kelly's movies. Hemade use of camera works to find ways to make his dance numbers as dimensional onscreen as possible. He used camera skill such as tracking, tilt up, zoom-in, close up, changeof angle two ways of moving camera. He utilized camera to push in order to get three-dimensionalforce into a dance. He synchronized dance with camera movement to get kineticenergy and roundness in consideration of backdrops. He emphasized the backdrops, light,colour, sculptures. cinematic devise.
