The purpose of the study is to examine the Hétérotopie traits found in 「Scattered Crowd」(2002) by W. Forsythe, the innovative choreographer of modern dance, and review the anti-disciplinary aspects found in the work based on discussions of body by M. Foucault. Modern people have lost their independence because they are disciplined more microscopically than in the past due to the development of various media. This study focuses on the fact that it is the art of dance, the potential space to regain the existence of the unconsciously coded identity through 「Scattered Crowd」 by Forsythe, which demonstrates the contemporary characteristics of nonregularity and anti-genre.
Abstract
