정재악장(呈才樂章)의 춤의 표현에서 풍(風)과 관련한 움직임에 관한 연구- 조선후기를 중심으로

Abstract

JUNGJAEACKJANG is art works which includes music and dance for the king during the royal banquet. Jungjaeackjang not only includes theme of the dance and music, also its backgrounds and process of development, and the scenery of the royal banquet. Also, Jungjarackjang express precedures for the dance and its movement, lets focus on this point. Within this kind of expression we can find out the features of movement and principal of traditional dance. Especially early Joseon dynasty period, Jungjaeackjang established the legitimacy of the foundation of Joseon dynasty and prayed for safe and development of the dynasty, but the late Joseon dynasty period it is founded the most of the inventions of the art works which expresses the beauty of nature or entertainments in the dance and music. These late Joseon dynasty's Jungjaeackjang, we can found out the expression of the dance movements. To find out its features, checking out late Joseon dynasty's seventeen Uigwe which is royal protocols and 『Jungjaemudoholegi』 from National Gugak Center, as results following features has been summarized. First, description of dance movements are colligated to Wind(風). In the lyrics of song called <Chunangjeon> says "Silk sleeve, dance is pumping with the wind.", this means wind causes the dance or silk sleeve dance is light as the wind. Secondly, when it not directly related to the wind in description of dance movements in Jungjaeackjang. It also shows features of lightness and flying. In the lyrics of song called <Chimhangchun> says "Lined sleeve, fluttering dance", this description means the movements of dancing sleeve are light and soft. That is why many part of Jungjaeackjang describes dance with phoenix, geese, swallows, butterflies, snowflakes, and also describes softness(軟), fluttering(翩), shaking(拂), waving(娑). Through these elements, it incarnate lightness(輕) and flying(飛). Thirdly, the description of dance movement in Jungjaeackjang, it tend to mimic the movement of fairies. Thus, the dancer him/herself postulate fairies and express the fluttering movement with rainbow cloth(霓裳) which presumed fairy's cloth. Assuming that fairies as extreme entertainment, the royal banquet is supporting the dance movement as fairies in royal palace.
