This study examines empathy as an interaction through art works and studies the expression of gesture and the way of communication of modern dance which is transformed through the work of Xabier le Roy 's work, 「Product of Circumstance」. I will examine various communication problems with the audience and examine the diversity of the emotional action emanating from the work. Roy's work is about active use of language that is disconnected from communication with the past in dance. It contains the words and contents of new works through his own experiences, backgrounds and dialogues with others. This work extends the understanding of challenges, experiments, and communication in contemporary art, and can be used to identify the meaning of a new dance.
