밀양작약산예수재(豫修齋) 작법무(作法舞)의 미적 가치와 발전 방안

Abstract

In the Buddhist ritual of <Jesusae>, a Buddhist hymn and formality dance are carried out together. Currently, Miryangjakyaksanyesusjae is designated as an intangible cultural heritage, and the plaque is des- ignated as an intangible cultural heritage, but the formality dance has not been designated. Therefore, this study aims to further increase its value by analyzing the formality dance of Miryangjakyaksanyesusjae, which has not been studied so far, and further lay the academic founda- tion for securing its status as a local intangible cultural heritage. There are <Bara Dance> and <Butterfly Dance> in the formality dance performed at the Yaksan Yesusjae in Miryang. Unlike formality dances in other regions, which are usually difficult in form and formality, 'locali- ty' coexists based on typical elements of Buddhist dance, and religious symbolism is inherent and has excellent artistry. This study is not simply to appreciate the special Buddhist cultural heritages in the Miryang re- gion, but to suggest a direction to be reborn as a Festival where direct participation and more professional knowledge can be experienced.
