기호학적 관점으로 본 살풀이춤의 의미구조: 대전무형유산 김란류 살풀이춤을 중심으로

본 연구는 소쉬르와 바르트의 기호학 이론을 통해 대전무형유산 김란류 살풀이춤이 갖는 문화적 의미를 분석하는데 목적을 둔다. 일련의 분석과정을 거쳐 김란류 살풀이춤의 동작들이 갖는 1차적 외시의미에서 해석된 2차적 함축의미로는 정과 한, 살풀이, 맺힘으로의 한과 풀림으로의 신명, 음과 양, 이와 기의 의미들이 나타났으며, 이와 같은 분석 결과를 토대로 바르트의 텍스트 기호학을 통해 본 김란류 살풀이춤의 메타언어로는 한국인의 한의 의식과 함께 충청의 역사와 문화 속 충청인의 한의정서가 내포되어 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 기호학이라는 해석학적 방법론을 통해 지역의 무형유산 전통춤이 갖는 문화적 의미를 조명함으로써 지역의 다양한 춤에 대한재인식의 초석을 다질 수 있다는데 본 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the culture significance of the Kim Ran′s Salpuri dance, the intangible heritage of Daejeon, through the semiotic theory of Saussure and Barthes. through a series of analysis processes, the secondary implications interpreted in the primary external meaning of the movements of the Kim Ran′s Salpuri dance showed the meaning of Jeong and Han, Salpuri, Han and Sinmyung, Yin and Yang, Yi and Gi, Based on the results of this analysis, it can be confirmed that the meta-language of the Kim Ran′s Salpuri dance seen through Barthes′s text semiotics contains the Korean consciousness as well as the Korean sentiment of the Chungcheong people in the history and cul- ture of Chungcheong. The significance of this study can be found in that it is possible to lay the foundation for re-recognition of various dance in the region by illuminating the culture meaning of the local intangible heritage traditional dance through the hermeneutic methodology of semiotics.
