RFID(Radio Frequency Identification Device)는 최근에 여러 산업의 다양한 분야에 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교복산업에서 RFID 도입으로 인해 매장 내에 대기행렬이 감소하여 발생하는 효과를 측정하기 위한 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구를 위해 교복업체 S사의 매장을 방문하여 비디오 녹화를 하고 이를 토대로 실질적인 연구 데이터 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 실험 결과 대기행렬과 총 서비스 시간의 감소로 10명이었던 도우미 직원을 7명 까지 줄일 수 있다는 결과가 나왔다. 뿐만 아니라 실시간 재고관리가 가능해져 재고관리를 하던 직원 1명도 줄일 수 있었다. 지금껏 많은 연구들이 정성적 기대효과나 설문조사를 통해 효과를 제시한 것과 달리 본 연구에서는 보다 정확하고 현실적인 정량적 효과를 제시하였다는데 그 의미가 있다.
Abstract
RFID(Radio Frequency Identification Device) has been implemented in various industries. However, rigorous quantitative feasibility test for implementing RFID system to the real process can not be found. This paper developed a simulation model to evaluate the effect of implementing RFID system in school uniform industry. Real case data of a school uniform retail shop was collected and analyzed to construct a simulation framework. As a result of computational simulation experiment, it is shown that the number of helper staff can be reduced from 10 to 7 with similar service level by implementing RFID system at a retail shop sales process. The contribution of this paper is that it can show the impact of implementing RFID with obvious quantitative figures.
