최근 e-commerce의 급속한 성장과 함께 택배서비스에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있으나, 이로 인한 택배업체의 난립에 따른 치열한 경쟁을 이겨내야 하는 택배업체들은 끊임없는 택배 프로세스의 개선 전략을 도모하고 있다. 택배 프로세스에서 택배영업소의 수주마감시간이란 익일 배송을 가능하게 하는 영업소의 수주 가능시간으로 정의된다. 만일 수주마감시간을 증가시키게 되면 매출액 증가를 기대할 수 있지만, 반대로 화물터미널의 작업 지연을 유발할 가능성이 있어 정시 고객서비스 제공에 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 매출이익을 최대화하기 위해 택배영업소의 수주마감시간과 화물터미널 용량을 동시에 결정하는 것이다. 이를 위해 수리적 모형을 제시하고, 이 문제를 풀기 위해 유전 알고리듬 접근법을 개발한다. 또한 국내 택배업체의 현장 자료에 기초한 예제 문제를 통해 알고리듬의 적용성 및 성능을 평가한다
Abstract
While demands for express couriers service are rapidly increasing according to recent progress of electronic commerce, express courier service companies are struggling to take a larger delivery service market share through ongoing improvement in their service processes. cutoff time is referred to as a specific time of the day prior to which ordered items are guaranteed for the next day delivery service. Extension of cut-off time for express service centers can provide the express company with increase of total sales, but it may also cause to increase the possibility not to satisfy customer needs due to work delay in the consolidation terminal.This study suggests a genetic algorithm approach for determining both the cut-off time for express service centers and the capacity of the consolidation terminal to maximize total sales profit. An example problem is carried out to verify applicability and performance of the algorithm with the data set collected from an express courier company in Korea.
