이러닝 코스의 수월성 확보를 위한 질 관리 평가 준거 연구

초록

이러닝이 의미 있는 학습결과를 얻기 위해서는 우선적으로 체계적인 질 관리 방안의 수립과 이에 대한 실천을 통해 이러닝 코스에 대한 질적 수월성을 확보하여야 한다. 이러닝 코스에서의 질 관리는 이러닝 콘텐츠나 코스 운영에 대한 평가와 학습 효과와 같은 결과물에 대한 질 평가뿐만 아니라, 표준화된 이러닝 콘텐츠 개발 질 관리 절차를 통한 지속적인 모니터링을 강조하는 과정으로서의 질 관리에 주목할 필요가 있다. 기존의 질 관리 모형 및 평가 준거를 살펴보면, 다분히 결과물에 대한 질 평가를 강조하는 경향이 높다. 그러나 질 관리의 본래 목적이 질을 보장하기 위한 체계적이고 조직적인 품질관리 절차를 수립하고 이를 실천하는 것임을 상기해 볼 때, 코스 개발의 전 과정에서의 질 관리 방안에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구의 분석을 통해 기존의 이러닝 질 관리 평가 요소들을 종합적으로 분석하여 이러닝 코스의 질 관리 모형을 수립하고, 질 관리를 위한 평가 준거를 5개의 영역과 16개의 하위 영역으로 구분하고 총 60개의 평가 준거를 개발하였다. 개발된 평가준거는 관련 전문가들의 내용타당도 검증과 함께, 이러닝 코스를 개발, 운영하는 대학 및 교육기관의 교수, 이러닝 담당자들을 대상으로 한 이메일 설문조사를 통해 평가 준거의 타당성 검증을 실시하였다.

Abstract

The e-learning is an alternative approach for meaningful and deeper learning deal with higher order thinking against traditional knowledge acquirement and delivery. Basically, it is needed to establish quality management planning and practical quality evaluation criteria for quality assurance of e-learning course. The traditional approach to quality assurance was to concentrate on product as a result of e-learning course. But essentially, the quality assurance is continuous and recursive quality management process from planning & analysis, design & development, implementation, and evaluation of e-learning courses. The purpose of this study was the development of quality evaluation criteria for excellence of e-learning course with process approach. For this approach, ISD model was used for quality assurance model. It was included in analysis & planning, design & development, implementation, evaluation, quality management and supports for quality assurance model. And then the 13 evaluation criteria from prior research of quality assurance evaluation was analysed and reorganized according to phase of quality assurance model. And a few of criteria were added according to researcher's opinion. The 60 criteria in 5 areas are finally developed for quality evaluation with content validity by the e-learning expert. And 38 responses from e-learning faculties, contents developers, and the other participants were acquired by e-mail survey for the purpose of validation of this research.
