교육정보미디어학회와 교육공학회의 학문적 정체성 탐구에 관한 연구

Abstract

It is unquestionable that the two major societies, The Korean Society for Educational Technology and The Korean Association for Educational Information and Media, have been leading educational researches in Korea. They have been introducing theories of educational technology and applying them to practical fields for 10 or 20 years. The Korean Society for Educational Technology, obviously has founded the base in the history of educational technology, but both of them, in practice, have been contributed to academic results and official approvals. In considering the present ways of practice by the two societies, however, we educational technologists think that it is the time to re-establish the identity of each society and to find out the developmental direction for the future through cooperating each other. In this respect, this study is to seek the theoretical ways for development of the two societies in co-existence. That is, it is to look back what they have contributed, to compare their major academic interests and activities, and to reflect their academic achievements. Furthermore, it is to find out the direction of development for each society to perform its appropriate tasks in the future.
