온라인 사례기반학습에서 사례의 구성방식과 추론활동 지원도구의 제공에 따른 효과 분석

본 연구는 사례기반학습에서 사례의 구성방식과 추론활동 지원도구의 제공 여부에 따라 과제 수행결과인 포트폴리오 평가점수, 추론능력지수에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 온라인 기반의 사례기반학습 환경에서 실시되었으며, 연구 대상자는 A보험회사에서 보상업무를 수행하고 있는 110명이였다. 이들을 사례의 구성방식과 추론활동 지원도구의 제공 여부에 따라 각각 분류한 뒤 온라인 기반 사례기반학습 프로그램인 ‘구상채권 실무 과정’을 수강하도록 하였다. 실험기간은 총 7주였으며, 학습자들에게는 포트폴리오의 형태로 수행한 과제를 제출하도록 하였다. 실험연구를 실시한 결과 사례의 구성방식과 추론활동 지원도구의 제공 여부에 따라 포트폴리오 평가점수에 차이가 나타났으며, 상호작용 효과도 발견되었다. 사례의 구성방식과 추론활동 지원도구의 제공 여부에 따라 추론능력지수에 차이가 나타났으며, 상호작용 효과도 발견되었다. 이는 사례를 구조화하여 제시할 경우 저장단계에서 인지적 부담이 상대적으로 작고, 전문가가 사례를 구성하는 방식과 유사하게 사례를 구조화할 수 있으며, 사례간의 유사점과 차이점을 쉽게 비교할 수 있다는 점이 학습결과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 다는 것을 시사한다. 추론활동 지원도구의 제공을 통해 학습자가 주체적으로 추론활동을 수행하도록 함으로써 다양한 관점을 가지고 분석활동을 수행하면서 문제수행에서 보다 심층적 활동을 수행하도록 한 것이 학습의 효과성을 향상시키는데 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 사실을 알 수 있다.
Abstract
Research questions of this study are as follows. First, we examined effect of case organization type and reasoning supporting tool to task solving in case based learning. Second, we examined effect of case organization type and reasoning supporting tool to the cognitive level of learner's reasoning strategies. Third, we examined effect of case organization type and reasoning supporting tool to reasoning ability quotient. 110 persons who are employed compensation department in A insurance company are examined. These results are showing that offering organized case is more effective to the problem solving, cognitive level of learner's reasoning strategies and reasoning ability quotient. Reasoning supporting tool is also effective to task solving of novice, and improving reasoning ability quotient in case based learning. If case is unorganized when carrying task solving in case-based learning then it is more effective to learners what reasoning supporting tool is using. But if not, needed to offer reasoning supporting tool for help task solving of learner. At that time it is more effective what type of case organization is embedded into learning program.
