서울시 집단에너지사업의 경영효율화 방안

Abstract

Mass energy business in Seoul provides combined heat and power(CHP) to two regions in Seoul, Nowon and Yangcheon. However, the managerial and financial indicators show that the business is dismal in many aspects and thus needs improvement. Currently, 96.3 billion won is in red ink as of 2001. The purpose of this article is to identify the problems of the mass energy business in Seoul and find ways to improve such problems. The paper not only analyzes financial conditions of the business and compares conditions of the related businesses such as LG Power, Inc., and Pusan Mass Energy Business, Inc. to that of Seoul, but also draws lessons from leading European countries' experiences.
