초록

모바일기기와 무선인터넷을 활용한 m-learning이 교육에 있어서 하나의 혁신으로 등장함에 따라, m-learning에 대한 잠재 수용자들의 활용을 예측할 수 있는 요인을 도출하여 이에 대한 영향력을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 정보기술수용에 관한 연구모형을 통해 m-learning의 활용의도에 영향을 미치는 혁신의 속성으로 상대적 유용성, 사용용이성, 적합성 요인을 도출하였으며, 관련연구를 통해 자기효능감을 예측요인으로 설정하였다. 연구결과 상대적 유용성, 적합성, 자기효능감이 m-learning 활용의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인이었으며, 이들 세 변수는 잠재 사용자들의 m-learning 활용의도를 63% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 m-learning의 수용과 실행을 촉진시키고 확산시키기 위하여 m-learning의 유용성, 적합성, 정보기기 사용에 대한 자기효능감, 사용용이성의 관점에서 방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

While a number of studies have been performed on how to use and develop new information technology more effectively, few have been studied on how to facilitate new technology adoption and utilization. Since m-learning using mobile devices and wireless internet has been emerged as an educational innovation recently, this study tried to identify factors influencing the intention to use m-learning. Through literature reviews on technology adoption and utilization, the four predictors were logically developed and tested; relative advantage, ease of use, compatibility, and self-efficacy. The results showed that three of the four factors - relative advantage, compatibility, and self-efficacy - were significant and explained 63% of the variance in predicting intention to use m-learning. Based on the results, suggestions to facilitate the adoption and utilization of m-learning and for future study were provided.
