대학 교원의 교수법 탐색을 위한 학습공동체 운영 사례 분석

초록

본 연구는 대학 교원의 교수법 탐색을 위한 학습공동체 운영 사례를 분석함으로써 대학 교원의 관심 연구 주제와 연구 방법, 대학 교원 학습공동체 참여자가 인식하는 학습 성과, 개선 사항을 실증적으로 규명하는 데에 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위한 분석 자료는 최근 4년 간(2010∼2013) D광역시에 소재한 K대학 교수학습개발센터에서 운영된 96팀의 산출물이다. 연구 주제와 연구 방법을 분석하기 위해 분석 기준틀을 선정하였다. 연구의 결과, 첫째, 대학 교원 학습공동체 활동에서 다루어지는 연구 주제는 교수학습방법이 가장 많았고, 연구 방법은 사례연구가 가장 많았다. 둘째, 참여자들의 소감문 분석에서 나타난 대학 교원 학습공동체 활동의 성과는 협동학습에 대한 전반적인 만족, 학습 내용의 이해, 적용, 확산, 학습 습관 및 태도의 변화, 교수전문성에 대한 관심과 이해, 교수인적네트워크 형성 등으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 대학 교원 학습공동체 프로그램의 개선사항은 프로그램 활성화를 위한 지원 확대, 활동을 위한 시설 제공, 프로그램 운영자의 역할 개선, 제출 서류의 간소화, 공유의 장 마련, 활동 시기의 조정 등으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate what research topics and methods university faculty are interested in by analyzing cases of faculty learning communities at a university to explore teaching methods. Futhermore, it is also to positively examine learning outcomes and improvements that learning community members recognize by analyzing the comments from them. This study is based on outcomes from 96 faculty learning communities supported by the Center for Teaching and Learning of K university in Daegu from 2010 to 2013. Frames of reference have been selected to analyze the research topics and methods. The results of this study were as follows: First, the study analyzed the reviews of the members, Teaching and learning method is observed to be the most frequently discussed research topic, and case study is applied most often as a research method. Second, the study analyzed the reviews of the members, and finally came up with numerical values on how much they are satisfied with the cooperative learning in general, how much they understand contents to be learned, what they do to apply or expand the contents, how much learning habits and attitude have been changed, how much they are interested in or understand teaching professionalism and what they do to form social networks. Using the quantified information, the study was able to interpret the results of the analysis both objectively and scientifically. Last but not least, looking into the reviews of the members, the study had a chance to understand how to expand supports to promote the program, how to provide facilities for the activities, how to run the program, how to simplify the paper works, how to share ideas or opinions and lastly, limits of the activity period.
