Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of learning motivation, satisfaction, and engagement on students’ loyalty to ‘on-off line based courses’ of university. This study investigated impact variables related to students’ loyalty to ‘on-off line based courses’. We proposed an optimum model for the relationship among the variables. In this study, utilitarian motivation and social motivation were adopted as exogenous variables. Satisfaction, personal engagement and social engagement were adopted as moderating variables, and students’ loyalty to ‘on-off line based courses’ were adopted as a dependent variable. Data was collected from 374 students who were taking ‘2hours(off line)+1hour(online)’ courses at university. The data was analyzed using the structural equation modeling method. Amos 20.0 was used for data analysis. The findings showed that functional engagement, satisfaction, utilitarian motivation, social motivation positively exert significant influence on students’ loyalty to on-off line based courses. This study provided suggestions both for practice and theory regarding on-off line based courses at university.
