본 연구의 목적은 학교장의 디지털 리더십 개념을 체계화하고, 이를 기반으로 디지털 교육 환경의 변화하는 요구에 부응하는 역량 모형을 개발하는 데 있다. 연구 절차로는 먼저 문헌 연구 및 선행 자료조사를 통해 디지털 리더십의 개념적 틀을 정립하고, 학교장의 디지털 리더십 유형과 핵심역량 요소의 초안을 도출하였다. 이후 교육전문가 10인을 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 통해 초안을 검토․수정하였으며, 수정된 개념과 역량 요소는 디지털 리더십 및 교육학계 전문가 26인을 대상으로 한 델파이조사를 통해 두 차례 타당도를 검증하였다. 최종적으로 본 연구에서는 3가지 역량군(통찰적 리더, 협력적 리더, 교육적 리더)과 6가지 핵심역량(비전 및 전략 개발, 환경 조성, 소통 및 협력, 전문성 개발, 디지털 기반 교육 구현, 책임의식), 그리고 각 역량별 3개씩 총 18개의 구성요소를 도출하였다. 본 연구는 학교장의 디지털 리더십 개념을 명확히 규명하고, 역량 모형을 체계적으로 제시함으로써 학교장의 디지털 리더십 역량 강화를 위한 구체적이고 실천적인 방향성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to conceptualize digital leadership in the context of school principals and to develop a systematic competency model tailored to the evolving demands of digital education. A literature review was conducted to establish a conceptual framework and draft preliminary leadership types and core competencies. In-depth interviews with 10 education experts and two rounds of Delphi surveys with 26 specialists were employed to refine and validate the model. As a result, the study identified a final model consisting of three types of digital leadership (Visionary Leader, Collaborative Leader, Pedagogical Leader), six core competencies (vision and strategy development, environment creation, communication and collaboration, professional development, digital-based education implementation, and sense of responsibility), and 18 specific indicators. This study contributes both theoretically and practically by offering a structured model to guide the development and enhancement of school principals’ digital leadership competencies in educational practice.
