교수역량 진단척도 개발 및 요구분석 : P대학교 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 교수역량의 현황을 파악하고 개별 교수의 요구 및 상황에 맞는 맞춤형 교수지원의 기초자료 확보를위해 교수역량 진단척도를 개발하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 연구과정은 먼저, 교수역량 관련 문헌분석을 통해교수역량의 주요 구성요인을 탐색하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 내용을 근거로 전문가 자문을 실시하여 진단척도의 초안을구성하였다. 구성된 초안은 진단척도의 내용타당도를 확보하기 위해 P대학 전임교원으로 구성된 37명의 전문가 패널을 활용하여2회기의 델파이 조사를 시행하였다. 이후 델파이 조사를 통해 완성된 진단척도를 활용하여 P대학 소속 교원 121명을대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여, 기술통계값, 타당도 및 신뢰도를 확인하여 교수역량 진단척도를 최종 확정하였다. 또한, 교수역량에 대한 중요도와 수행정도의 차이 값을 근거로 Borich요구를 분석하여 교수역량에 대한 교육요구를분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 기본역량을 구성하는 하위역량 2개, 평가영역 7개, 평가항목 20개, 교육역량을 구성하는 하위역량3개, 평가영역 9개, 평가항목 40개로 구성된 교수역량 진단척도가 되었다. 교수역량의 요구분석 결과, ‘교수자로서의자세 및 태도’ 역량의 ‘교수자로서의 책임감’ 평가영역이 최우선순위로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 교수역량 진단척도는 교수역량 강화를 위한 다차원의 종합 지원 및 맞춤형 개별 지원이 이루어질수 있는 대학 차원의 제도적 지원 구축을 위한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop the diagnostic scale of teaching competency to grasp the current status of teaching competency and to secure the basic data for teaching support tailored to the needs and circumstances of individual teaching. The first research process for this purpose was to explore the major components of teaching competency through the analysis of literature related to teaching competency. Based on the deduced contents, expert consultations were conducted to draft a diagnostic scale. In order to secure the content validity of the diagnostic scale, two Delphi surveys were conducted from a panel of 37 experts composed of full-time faculty from P University. Afterwards, the survey was conducted on 121 professors in P University using the diagnostic scale completed through the Delphi survey. And then the diagnostic scale of teaching competency was finalized by confirming descriptive statistics, validity and reliability. In addition, the educational needs for teaching competency were analyzed by analyzing Borich's demand based on the difference between importance and performance. As a result of this study, the diagnostic scale of teaching competency consisted of 2 sub-capabilities, 7 evaluation areas, 20 evaluation items in basic competency, 3 sub-capabilities, 9 evaluation areas, and 40 evaluation items in education competency. As a result of the need analysis the area of evaluation of 'responsibility as a professor' in the 'posture and attitude as a professor' competencies was identified as the highest priority. The diagnostic scale developed in this study is expected to provide basic data for the establishment of institutional support at the university level where multi-dimensional comprehensive support and customized individual support can be provided to strengthen the teaching competency.
