교양 교과목에 온라인 PBL을 적용한 사례 연구

코로나19의 영향으로 대학에 개설되는 교양과목 수업은 비대면으로 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 온라인 수업에서학습자 만족도를 높이고 소통을 유발할 수 있는 교수학습모형을 제시하고 그 효과를 분석함으로 온라인 프로그램을활용한 비대면 수업의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 N대학교 교양 교과목 「문명 속의 수학 이야기」에 온라인프로그램을 활용한 PBL 학습모형을 적용하고 학습 효과를 분석하였다. 학습자의 학업 부담감을 고려하여 개별 프로젝트와 팀 프로젝트를 병행하여 진행하였고, Padlet을 활용한 온라인 전시회를 통하여 최종 결과물에 대한 동료평가를진행하였다. 역량 사전 사후검사를 통하여 온라인으로 진행한 학습이 융합역량과 협업역량의 강화에 도움이 됨을확인하였으며, 설문을 통하여 다양한 형태의 온라인 활동이 학습 구성원의 원활한 소통을 촉진하였음을 확인하였다. 이번 연구로 비대면 수업에 온라인 PBL 학습모형의 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.
Abstract
In the aftermath of COVID-19, liberal arts classes in universities are being conducted non-face-to-face. This paper proposes a teaching-learning model that can increase learner satisfaction and induce communication in online classes, and analyze its effects to suggest the direction of non-face-to-face classes using online platforms. In this study, the learning effect was analyzed by applying the problem-based learning (PBL) model using the online program to teach Mathematics in Civilization, a liberal arts subject at N University. Considering the learners’ academic workload, individual and team projects were carried out in parallel, and peer evaluation of the final results was conducted through an online exhibition. The pretests and post-tests confirmed that online learning helped strengthen convergence and collaboration capabilities; an analysis of the questionnaires confirmed that various online activities helped promote smooth communication among learners. Therefore, the PBL model can be applied to non-face-to-face classes effectively.
