고등학생의 진로교육 참여결정요인과 그 효과성에 관한 연구 - 대학 전공학과 선택을 중심으로 -

이 연구는 일반계와 전문계 고등학생의 진로교육참여 결정 요인과 재학 시 진로교육이 희망전공과 실제 대학진학 전공간의 일치도에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 한국직업능력개발원의 한국교육고용패널 자료를 이용하였으며 기본 분석방법으로는 이변량 회귀방정식을 이용하였다. 연구결과 전문계 학생보다는 일반계 학생들에게서 학교, 가구 내 진로교육이 전공일치에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 그러나 학교의 진로교육 보다는 가정 내 진로교육이 학생의 전공일치에 더 큰 영향을 미치고 있었으며 가정 내 빈번한 진로교육은 자녀의 희망전공보다는 부모의 희망전공학과로 갈 가능성이 존재하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 한편 진로교육참여 결정에 일반교사들의 영향이 존재하고 있어 전문진로교사 양성도 중요하지만 평교사들에게 진로교육과 정보를 제공함으로써 학생들의 진로교육 참여를 높일 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 끝으로 전문계 학생들은 전문계 입학 사유가 일반계 학생보다 다양함에 따라 이들 그룹에 따른 진로교육의 다양한 정책이 마련되어야 할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the participant determinant factors of career education of general and vocational high school students for high school days and the effects of career education in the school which impacts on the match between desire major and true major. Using the KEEP data of KRIVET, we apply probit regression methodology to measure the effect of career education we conclude that the career education of in school and house impact on to general school students more than vocational high school students to the matching major. But career education in house than school education make more high an impact upon the matching major of students. Our results suggest that a various policies of vocational high school students need to be prepared since they have a diverse entrance reasons of vocational high school.
