본 연구는 중등 예비교사의 교사효능감에 대한 교육실습의 효과를 분석하고, 교육실습 후 예비교사의 교사효능감과관련 있는 요인을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 S여대 교직과정의 중등예비교사 30명을 대상으로 실습전·후에 교사효능감 수준을 측정하고, 실습 종료 후에 교육실습 전반에 관한 의견조사를 실시하였다. 교육실습의효과 분석에는 실습 전과 후 교사효능감 수준 차이를 검증하는 대응표본 t-test와 효과크기 Cohen’s d를 사용하고, 교사효능감 관련 요인 탐색에는 단계적 중다회귀분석을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 예비교사의 교사효능감은 전체 및 3개 하위영역 모두에서 유의하게 향상되었고, 실습 전후의 효과크기도 .77~.94로 높게 나타났다. 실습후의 교사효능감에 영향을 주는 요인은 교사효능감의 하위 영역에 따라 차이를보였지만, 실습생의 실습 전 교직 희망, 실습과정에서의 학급지도 경험이 관련 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 실습전 교직 희망, 수업실행횟수, 학급지도 경험은 교사효능감을 설명하는 예측변인들로 확인되었다. 분석 결과를 토대로 예비교사의 교사효능감에 대한 교육실습의 효과와 교사효능감 영향 요인을 논의하고, 효과적인교육실습 프로그램 설계·운영과 교사 양성교육 개선을 위한 시사점을 제
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of teaching practicum on the teaching-efficacy of the secondary pre-service teachers. This study also explored the factors related to the teaching-efficacy of pre-service teachers. This study measured the teaching-efficacy before and after the teaching practicum of 30 pre- service teachers and conducted an opinion survey on the overall teaching practicum. The t-test was used to verify the difference in the level of teaching efficacy before and after the practicum and Cohen's d was used. Then, pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis were conducted to identify factors related to teaching efficacy. As a result, the teaching efficacy of the pre-service teachers was significantly improved in total and all three sub-areas, and the effect size before and after practice was also high, ranging from .77 to .94. Factors influencing the teaching efficacy showed differences according to the sub-area of the teaching efficacy, but it was found that the pre-service teachers’ desire for a teaching job and classroom management experience in the practicum process were related. Particularly, the teaching job hope, the number of classes performed, and classroom management were identified as predictive variables that explain the level of teaching efficacy. Based on the results, teaching practicum on pre-service teachers' teaching efficacy and factors influencing on it were discussed. and implications for designing and implementing an effective teaching practicum program and teacher training were suggested. This study will be used as basic data to construct the theory of teaching practicum.
