대학생의 진로장벽과 진로준비 행동의 관계에서 진로목표 특성을 통한 마인드셋의 조절된 매개효과

초록

본 연구의 목적은 진로장벽과 진로준비 행동의 관계에서 진로목표 특성을 통한 마인드셋의 조절된 매개효과를검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 D시와 K도 소재 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 242명을 대상으로 진로장벽 척도, 진로목표 특성 척도, 진로준비 행동 척도, 마인드셋 척도를 포함한 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 25.0 프로그램과 PROCESS macro의 model 4와 7을 활용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 진로목표 특성은진로장벽과 진로준비 행동 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 마인드셋은 진로장벽과 진로목표 특성간의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로장벽과 진로준비 행동의 관계에서 진로목표 특성을 통한 마인드셋의조절된 매개효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 진로장벽을 높게 지각하는 대학생에게 성장 마인드셋의증진을 통해 구체적이고 도전적인 진로목표를 설정할 수 있도록 돕는 개입이 효과적일 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로연구의 한계점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study verified the moderated mediating effect of mindset through characteristics of career goal in the relationship between career barriers and career preparation behavior of college students. Participants were 242 undergraduate students, and they responded to an internet survey including the career barriers, characteristics of career goal, career preparation behavior, and mindset scales. SPSS 25.0 program and Models 4 and 7 of the PROCESS macro were used for the analysis. This study derived the following results. First, characteristics of career goal mediated the relationship between career barriers and career preparation behavior. Second, mindset moderated the relationship between career barriers and characteristics of career goal. Third, the moderated mediating effect of mindset through characteristics of career goal was confirmed in the relationship between career barriers and career preparation behavior. The results suggest that in career counseling for college students who perceive high career barriers, it can be effective to help them set specific and challenging career goals by promoting growth mindset.
