본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 진로성숙도를 측정하는 검사를 개발하고 타당성을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해국내외 선행 검사 도구 및 문헌연구 검토하여 진로 태도와 진로 능력의 2개의 구인을 도출하였고, 중학 진로와 직업교육과정 및 교과서 분석, 전문가 평가를 통해 예비 문항을 도출하였다. 중학생 1780명을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하여요인부하량이 .3 미만이거나 한 요인의 문항수가 3개 미만으로 구성되어 있는 문항을 수정 및 삭제하여 최종 문항을확정하였다. 선정된 최종 문항의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하기 위해 중학생 2128명의 자료를 활용하여, 문항 내적합치도, 구인타당도, 수렴 및 판별타당도 그리고 준거 타당도를 확인하였다. 문항의 내적 합치도 신뢰도 계수는 기준치이상이었고, 2개의 구인과 6개의 세부 영역의 구조적 관계를 검증한 결과 모형적합도가 양호하였다. 수렴타당도와판별타당도 모두 기준을 충족하였다. 그리고 기존의 진로성숙도 검사와의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과 준거타당도를충분히 확보한 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 기존의 중학생 진로성숙도 검사 도구의 한계를 제시하고 중학교 시기의진로성숙의 발달적 특성과 환경적 특성을 고려하여 검사 도구를 개발했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 이에 따른 제언과활용 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The primary objective of this study was to develop an assessment to measure the career maturity of middle school students and to validate its reliability and validity. To this end, a comprehensive review of both domestic and international pre-existing assessment tools and literature was conducted, which led to the extraction of two components: career attitude and career ability. An analysis of middle school career and vocational education curricula, textbooks, and expert evaluations was performed to derive preliminary items. A preliminary survey was conducted with 1,780 middle school students, and items with a factor loading below .3 or those with fewer than three items within a single factor were revised or removed. The final items were determined based on this process. To verify the reliability and validity of the selected final items, data from 2,128 middle school students were analyzed. Internal consistency, construct validity, convergent and discriminant validity, as well as criterion validity were examined. The internal consistency reliability coefficient of the items exceeded the standard value, and the model fit was satisfactory when validating the structural relationship of the two components and six sub-areas. Both convergent and discriminant validity met the required criteria. Furthermore, an examination of the correlation with the existing career maturity test indicated that criterion validity was sufficiently established. This study holds significance as it points out the limitations of existing middle school career maturity assessment tools and presents a new assessment tool that considers the developmental and environmental characteristics of career maturity during middle school. Recommendations and applications based on these findings are also presented.
