2022 개정 초등학교 교육과정 성취기준에 나타난 생태전환교육 관련 생태소양 요소 분포 분석

본 연구에서는 2022 개정 초등학교 교육과정 성취기준 전반에 나타난 생태전환교육 관련 성취기준의 분포 현황을파악하고, 생태전환교육의 목표인 생태소양 5가지 요소의 교육과정 성취기준에 나타난 학년군별 및 교과별 분포현황을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 생태전환교육 관련 다양한 선행연구 분석을 통하여 생태전환교육의 목표인생태소양 주요 5가지 영역을 제시하고 이를 기반으로 내용분석(content analysis)을 수행하였다. 분석의 기준인 5가지생태소양 요소는 인지적 영역의 ① 생태적 지식과 이해와 ② 생태적 사고능력, 행동적 영역인 ③ 생태적 실천과참여, 정의적 영역인 ④ 생태적 가치관과 태도와 ⑤ 생태적 감수성이다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생태전환교육은 2022 개정 초등학교 교육과정 성취기준 전반에 포함되어있었으며, 저학년에서 고학년으로 갈수록 강조되고 있었다. 둘째, 생태전환교육의 목표라고 할 수 있는 생태소양과소양의 5가지 구성 요소가 초등학교 교육과정 성취기준 전반에 고르게 분포하고 있으나 생태적 감수성 측면은 다소미흡하게 나타났다. 또한 학년군별에 따라 강조되는 생태소양 요소가 다르게 나타남으로써 학생들의 성장에 따른생태전환교육의 강조와 목표가 변화하고 있었다. 셋째, 초등학교의 생태전환교육을 위한 교육적 성취는 주로 사회, 도덕, 과학, 실과 교과를 중심으로 제시되고 있었으며, 특히 과학 및 실과교과에서 강조되고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결론을 기반으로 국가 수준 교육과정에서 제시하는 생태전환교육의 개념과 방향에 대한 충분한 이해를통하여 생태전환교육의 내용을 전 교과 및 창의적 체험활동 등 교육활동 전반에 직간접적으로 반영하는 통합적접근 노력이 필요하다. 또한 교육의 생태적 전환을 위한 철학과 방향을 공유하고 실천함으로써 생태전환교육이 학교안팎을 연결하여 생태문명 전환으로 이어지기 위한 노력이 요구된다.
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the distribution status of achievement standards related to ecological transition education shown throughout the 2022 revised elementary school curriculum achievement standards. Five major areas of ecological literacy, which are the goals of ecological transition education, were presented and content analysis was performed based on these. The five ecological literacy elements that constitute the standards for analysis are ① ecological knowledge and understanding and ② ecological thinking ability in the cognitive domain, ③ ecological practice and participation in the behavioral domain, and ④ ecological values and attitudes and ⑤ ecological sensitivity in the affective domain. The main analysis results are as follows: First, ecological transition education was included in the overall achievement standards of the 2022 revised elementary school curriculum, and was emphasized from lower to upper grades. Second, the five components of ecological literacy and literacy were evenly distributed throughout the elementary school curriculum achievement standards, but the ecological sensitivity aspect appeared to be somewhat insufficient. In addition, as the ecological literacy elements were emphasized differently depending on the grade group, the emphasis and goals of ecological conversion education changed as the students grew. Third, it was found that the educational achievements for ecological transformation education in elementary schools were presented mainly in social studies, morality, science, and practical subjects, and that science and practical subjects were especially emphasized. Based on this conclusion, an integrated approach that directly or indirectly reflects the contents of ecological transformation education throughout educational activities, including all subjects and creative experiential activities, through a sufficient understanding of the concept and direction of ecological transformation education presented in the national-level curriculum.
