본 연구는 발달장애인의 소셜 미디어 활용을 주제로 한 국내외 중재 연구를 분석하여 전반적 연구 동향 및 중재의특성을 파악하고, 소셜 미디어 활용 교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 발달장애인을 대상으로한 소셜 미디어 중재 연구들을 수집하고, 연구의 동향 및 중재의 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 발달장애인이 소셜미디어를 활용하는 데 있어 어떤 어려움과 필요를 가지고 있는지 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 발달장애 성인을 대상으로한 연구는 제한적이었으며, 소셜 미디어 중재는 주로 학습 또는 의사소통 능력 향상에 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 소셜미디어 플랫폼 선정에 있어 발달장애인의 선호를 고려한 연구는 드물었으며, 혼합연구 방법이 이들의 경험을 더잘 반영할 수 있다는 점이 확인되었다. 또한 테크놀로지 사용 능력 향상과 윤리적 및 안전 문제에 대한 종합적인교육이 필요함이 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 발달장애인의 소셜 미디어 활용 교육에 있어 개인의 선호를 고려한다양한 플랫폼의 활용, 윤리적 및 안전 문제에 대한 종합적인 교육, 테크놀로지 사용 능력 향상을 위한 지원의 필요성을논의하였다. 이러한 접근은 발달장애인의 자아존중감 향상과 사회적 통합에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the overall trends and characteristics of domestic and international intervention studies on the use of social media by individuals with developmental disabilities and to derive implications for social media utilization education. To identify the trends and characteristics of these interventions, a collection and analysis of intervention studies targeting individuals with developmental disabilities was conducted. This study examines the difficulties and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities when using social media. Studies targeting adults with developmental disabilities are limited, and social media interventions have mainly focused on improving learning or communication skills. Few studies have considered the preferences of individuals with developmental disabilities when selecting social media platforms. Mixed methods research was found to reflect their experiences better. Additionally, there is a need for comprehensive education on ethical and safety issues and support for to improve technology usage skills. Based on these results, this study discussed the necessity of utilizing various platforms that consider individual preferences, comprehensive education on ethical and safety issues, and support for improving technology usage skills. These approaches can contribute to self-esteem enhancement and social integration of individuals with developmental disabilities.
