청소년의 집단괴롭힘 피해경험과 학교부적응 간의 경로 분석: 우울 및 공격성을 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 집단괴롭힘 피해경험이 학교부적응에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 학교부적응에 대한 집단괴롭힘 피해경험의 직접효과와 우울 및 공격성을 매개로 한 간접효과를 설정한 경로 모형을 개발하였으며 이 모형의 유용성을 경험적으로 증명하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 2005년도에 실시된 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS)의 중 2패널 3차년도 자료 중 조사에 성공한 3,125명의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석을 위해서는 경로 모형이 활용되었으며 추정방법으로는 완전정보최대우도법(FIML)이 사용되었다. 분석결과, 집단괴롭힘 피해경험이 학교부적응에 직접적인 영향을 미침과 동시에 우울 및 공격성을 통해서 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 공격성에 대한 집단괴롭힘 피해경험의 직접적인 영향력은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과는 집단괴롭힘 피해경험으로 인한 학교부적응 문제를 해결함에 있어서 우울과 공격성을 고려해야 함을 시사해주는 것이며, 특히 공격성과 학교부적응 간의 관계를 우울이 매개하는 것으로 나타나 무엇보다 청소년의 우울에 주목해야 할 필요성을 나타내었다고 하겠다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between victimization, depression, aggression and school maladjustment in Korean adolescents. The data of 3,125 adolescents in 2005 Korea Youth Panel were analyzed using path modeling. The analysis results revealed that victimization experience was found to affect school maladjustment directly as well as indirectly through depression. In addition, depression had a significant effect on aggression. These results imply that decreasing depression and aggression is an effective way to help victims' school adjustment.
