초록
This study compared and analyzed whether four metaverse platforms are suiteable online PBL classes. Also this study examined whether student team activities based on the available metaverse platforms contributed to improving learning concentration and environment. As an applicable subject, the ‘Engineering Communication’ subject, which allows for activities utilizing the metaverse and team activities and assignments was selected. The learning process covered the basic contents and progress of the four metaverse platforms selected from the course curriculum, and allowed for metaverse-based team activities to be performed according to the given team topics. It was analyzed that there were some shortcomings in the results of metavser-based team activities, requiring more attention from instructors. The satisfaction survey was conducted on metaverse-based learning activities, and found that interest in the new learning method (over 80%) called the metaverse platforms has increased, and that students are satisfied with class progress and team activities utilizing the metaverse platforms. Finally this study recommended that among the metaverse platforms, Gathertown and ZEP were the most suitable for the PBL.
